MCLERAN, Jr., William T. age 93, passed away February 2, 2012. A practicing attorney in Dayton for 58 years, he was a member of the Dayton and Ohio Bar Association, Dayton Law Library Association, Dayton Mercator Club, American Legion #707, Grace United Methodist Church and the American Contract Bridge League. He was a Veteran of the United States Army from 1941-1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. McLeran, Sr., and Edith Holt McLeran; his first wife Mildred Elliott McLeran, January 4, 1960, and second wife Margaret Wenger McLeran, July 22, 2009. Surviving are his two children, daughter, Pamela McLeran Lott and husband, Alton, of Grandview, Missouri, and son William T. McLeran III, of Grasonville, Maryland. He leaves one sister, Alice McLeran Cromwell, of Sebring, Ohio and three grandchildren, Jason T. Lott, Brandon J. Lott and Jonathan Dayton McLeran. March McLeran, Mick McLeran and Avery Mae Lott are his three great-grandchildren. Remaining also are many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family invites you to join them for a Celebration of Life February 8, 2012, which would have been his 94th birthday, at an Open House at his home, 5284 Horrell Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45426 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Family requests no flowers but donations can be made to the Dayton Foundation, 500 Kettering Tower, Dayton, Ohio 45423 or www.Daytonfoundation.org. The body has been donated to Wright State University, School of Medicine, Department of Anatomy, Dayton, Ohio 45433; (937-873-2304). They will do everything necessary including cremation. Ashes will be interred at David’s Cemetery, Far Hills Ave., Kettering, Ohio. The date will be added to the marker there.
