Conley, Ivel, 83 of Springfield passed away June 7, 2017 in Good Shepherd Village. She was born in Johnson County, KY on November 10, 1933, the daughter of Millard and Edith Barker. Ivel was a wonderful homemaker and cook. She also liked working in her flowers and garden. She enjoyed spoiling Denise, Andy, Ben and Baylee: they were her world. Ivel was a proud member of Beatty Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Marie Back; son-in-law Roger “Skip” Vonderheide; five nephews and two nieces. Survivors include her husband Duelas Conley, whom she married June 17, 1954; daughter Denise Vonderheide; sister Faye Baldwin; grandchildren Andrew and Benjamin Vonderheide; great-grandson Baylee; special nieces Wanda Estep and Linda Back. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Ivel will be Monday at 1:30PM in the Memorial Home with Pastor Steve Wallace officiating.
